As Director of Undergraduate Admissions at John Brown University, I consistently collaborate with a wide repertoire of individuals including: prospective students and families, faculty and staff members, high school educators and professionals, and many others. John Brown University is a leading Christian college providing a highly-ranked academic, spiritual and professional foundation for world-impacting careers; and is Arkansas' top-ranked university (the Wall Street Journal) and among the top-10 regional universities in the South (U.S. News & World Report). JBU enrolls more than 2,200 students from 37 states and 48 countries in its in-person and online undergraduate and graduate programs.I am responsible for managing a team of 8 Undergraduate Admissions Counselors and around 15 student workers. My management responsibilities also encompass daily, quarterly, annual and seasonal recruitment processes. Working alongside the Executive Director of Admissions and VP of Enrollment, I cultivate and streamline best recruitment practices; coordinate with our Slate Operations team to execute efficient and data-driven workflows; and intentionally equip and prepare Admissions Counselors and student workers to utilize and thrive within these best practices as we recruit future JBU graduates who will change the world by honoring God and serving others.I graduated from John Brown University with Presidential Honors and two Bachelor's of Arts Degrees and am also pursing my Masters of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary and have completed 84/96 hours with anticipated graduation date of 2025.Additionally, I founded and co-own a small business, Judy & Jean Handmade Goods in 2020 with my business partner, fellow JBU Alum, and friend Mariah Christ. We are currently in 6 stores across Northwest Arkansas and participate in 20+ Festivals and Markets a year, in addition to maintaining an online store presence. In this arena, I manage our taxes, make digital connections with customers via social media, and also share the load of production with Mariah.
