About Claire da Silva

I am an experienced training, design and learning development manager. I manage learning teams and contribute to the design and develop training resources and L&D programs for a range of areas; Business, Leadership & Management, HR Recruitment and Retention, hospitality and WHS. Currently, I am the Academy Manager at Compass Group Australia; Academy is a frontline onboarding and induction centre that I have assisted in developing and rolling out across the country. I also work with remote mining villages, my team provides training for village staff, including skills workshops - this means I get to work with an amazing team that provides quality training to make sure our staff are workforce ready and meet our high standards. My background is in Hospitality and Business Management and Learning & Development. I have been in the training and development industry for over 9 years and have worked for/with Tafes, Trainee-ships & Apprenticeships, Private RTO's with both CRICOS International and Australian resident cohorts. Prior to working in training and development I worked as a hospitality professional and have been a venue manager of some of Perth's most prestigious F&B operations, and have also worked in the US, South America, and Europe for various Vineyards, Hotels, and Restaurants.
