About Claire Everett
I am a Ph.D. Candidate at Columbia University studying Neurobiology and Behavior. I am currently investigating the neural computations and circuitry underlying the visually-driven aggressive behavior in Siamese Fighting Fish. I am deeply interested in how unique brain and behavior systems can contribute to a foundational understanding of how brains can complete complex tasks, such as sight or social interaction. Outside of my immediate work, I am passionate about science visualization and communicating science to a larger population through animation and illustration.
