About Claire Painter

I'm an ACA-qualified finance professional with extensive experience in employee compensation, having worked across global roles in large, complex organisations. My background in finance has given me a strong commercial lens and analytical approach, which I’ve applied to help shape strategic reward decisions and influence senior stakeholders. I’ve developed expertise in compensation strategy, variable pay design and governance. I led the design and global implementation of a new target variable pay plan and architecture - a multi-year project that brought structure and consistency across the organisation, and aligning to performance and affordability. I’ve also consistently delivered financial modelling and market analysis to drive funding decisions, RemCo and Exec Committee papers, and led reward disclosures in the Annual Report. I enjoy working in fast-paced, collaborative environments where I can apply both my technical skills and broader business mindset to deliver meaningful outcomes.
