I am the proud Pathology Support Services Manager of four amazing teams working across two hospital trusts and an independent hub location. I support, encourage and develop my teams to provide an accurate and professional service processing our patients Blood Science and Microbiology samples. I have passion, drive and enthusiasm to lead with confidence and empathy to ensure that all members of my teams feel valued, supported and encouraged to progress. Constantly learning, evolving and developing new ideas and improvements, involving my teams in these decisions, is maintaining stability in a pressured and intense area of Pathology. Guiding and supporting my teams has developed their strengths and confidence in their abilities to excel and hold my Departments to a high standard. I have great passion for my role. I enjoy the fast paced, constantly changing world of Pathology amidst the challenges of the Pandemic and look forward to continuing to excel and provide high standard care to patients whilst humbling encouraging others to reach their dreams.
