I am a native speaker of Dutch language, but I was born in France. After high school (2001) I studied French language and culture at Leiden University (MA 2007). At the same time I studied Music for Schools at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague (BA 2007). My main musical instrument is classical piano; I also like to sing. My thesis in French language consisted of research into the human sense of rhythm in music and in language. After more than 10 years of experience as a high school teacher of French language, art history and music, I am ready to move on to the next challenge. I would like to make even more use of my passion for languages, art and culture and that is why I started my translation agency C’est Claire. I am looking forward to meeting you!
