A self motivated person who works on own initiative and as a team player. Is willing to work hard and up for a challenge. A people person with excellent communication skills and outgoing personality. Graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Since completing my undergraduate degree I have also obtained a postgraduate diploma in Child & Adolescent Mental Health with Trinity and a postgraduate certificate in Child Development & Mental Distress with South East Technological University. Experience as staff nurse and ACNM1 on both day & night duty & CNS in CAMHS. Current role: Psychiatric Nurse in Forensics. Former youth action panelist with Bodywhys and Dublin and National Action Panelist with SpunOut. I am a trained secondary school Mental Health talks ambassador and Consent Workshop Facilitator. In my third year of college I won a scholarship from ServiSource for an assignment I wrote on the topic:'Nurses who are competent, safety-conscious and who act with kindness and compassion provide safe, high-quality care'.
