About Clara Mareus

As a recent graduate from Florida State University with a Masters in Clinical of Social Work (Advanced Standing), I have a strong passion for helping individuals and communities overcome their mental health challenges and achieve their wellness goals. I have acquired multiple skills and certifications in crisis intervention, critical thinking, and working remotely, which enable me to provide effective and compassionate counselling and support services to diverse populations. I have interned at Georgia Pines CSB as a MSW Clinical Social Work Intern, where I collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to deliver quality mental health care to clients with various needs and backgrounds. In this role, I have contributed to the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, conducted assessments and evaluations, and facilitated group and individual therapy sessions. Through this internship, I have gained valuable insights and feedback on how to improve my clinical skills and practice, as well as how to advance my career in the social work field.
