About Clara Moore

In University I graduated with dual B.A degrees in Environmental Studies and Evolutionary Biology and Ecology. I spent a Study Abroad semester in Tanzania focused on Wildlife Conservation and Political Ecology. During both my time in school and since graduating in May of 2015, I have gained extensive knowledge in a variety of different areas including wildlife conservation and the travel industry, currently working as an Operations Manager for an award-winning African Safari Company. I have thorough experience in the wildlife conservation realm through my year spent working and studying in Africa. I worked with both the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia as an ecology intern and with Save the Elephants in Kenya on their project to reduce human-elephant conflict in the local villages. I am well versed in working with diverse arrays of people and have strong open communication skills. I have extensive animal care experience including a year at the Denver Zoological Society and time spent at a veterinary hospital and as a dog walker.
