About Clara Phan
I am currently a second-year PhD Candidate in Allison Bardin's lab at Curie Institute in Paris. My research focuses on the early effects of aneuploidy in stem cells during aging. More precisely, I aim to understand how cells sense their chromosomal content and eventually activate buffering mechanisms upon spontaneous aneuploidies. Besides my research, I am a passionate taekwondo practitioner and joined the French national team in 2014. I have represented my country in six major championships and achieved a world ranking of #38. Taekwondo has taught me discipline, resilience, and teamwork, which I apply to my academic and professional endeavors.
