About Clara Sofia Lavezzi

Freelance engineer in the field of architecture and engineering since 2015, I am currently turning my career towards the world of sport and its places. Specialized in sports infrastructure design, construction and management, I achieved the certification of social impact valuer issued by the certification organism CEPAS, through the course organized by the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Turin in collaboration with Tiresia and Torino Social Impact. Co-founder of the wePLAC & S project, aimed at the enhancement of places through sports activities and participatory processes of urban regeneration, I am strongly convinced that sports equipment is a key asset to support the territory and its community. I took part in the geomarketing analysis of sports facilities aimed at investment policies, at the Lombardy Region. I have followed the development of some important projects, such as the Palalido Allianz Cloud, the new SEA Vision Headquarters and the kiosk for the Sforza Castle in Milan, winner of the first prize in the ideas competition. I attend the gamification course, by Yu Kai Chou, to explore a new approach to business and engagement. Deeply interested in issues such as social innovation and the adoption of new methodologies, I strongly believe that cross-sectoral training is essential for a qualified and competitive professional.
