Background
About Clare Bigger
Clare Bigger is a figurative sculptor whose work is predominantly made from stainless steel. Her sculptures range in height from 4 inches to 10 metres. Commissions and collections include EMI, Tesco, Taylor Woodrow and the Jerwood Foundation. She creates studio pieces, corporate art and large public art works. Clare has always had a keen interest in sport (which includes a black belt in Tae Kwon Do) and her work often reflects this, its dynamic nature capturing a dancer balancing on point or a sprinter in full flight. Clare Bigger’s sculptures are a revelation, a celebration of life and the spontaneity of movement. Clare is based in the North West but works nationally and internationally.
