I am a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of leadership experience in the aged care sector, currently working across two complementary roles. I serve as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, Consumer Liaison with Advance Care Planning Australia, where I lead initiatives to improve national awareness and uptake of Advance Care Planning by supporting Australians to start the conversation about their future healthcare preferences. My work is grounded in strong consumer engagement building trust, facilitating meaningful dialogue, and ensuring people feel heard, respected, and empowered to make these important decisions. In parallel, I run my own consultancy, Cameron Strategic, where I advise aged care providers and related organisations on quality improvement, compliance, and care governance. Across both roles, I leverage my deep understanding of the health and human services landscape with a strong commitment to person-centred, values-driven consumer engagement. With qualifications in nursing, law, and health services management, I bring a unique and highly specialised skill set that integrates clinical knowledge, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.
