About Clare Greeman

I am an experienced editor with many years of experience and a diverse background in editing. After many years of loving writing, editing, and reading, I graduated Gustavus Adolphus College with a degree in English and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. During my time there, I not only fell in love with my studies, but was lucky enough to find my passion: copy-editing, when working on our campus newspaper. After gaining experience as a lead copy-editor and writer, I worked as an editorial intern, working in different writing niches and honing and keen eye for detail. In addition to being able to explore my baking passions, I've continued to fulfill my dreams of editing, working in fast-paced and rigorously assessed environments. My most important takeaways from these experiences is that anyone who has mastered grammar and punctuation rules can edit, but the best editors are those who have been put through the paces in terms of editing-niches and who have a passion for the work. I hope I can bring my varied background and my passion into my subsequent projects!
