About Clare Pollock

With senior leadership experience in Australian higher education roles, Clare is a dynamic and driven leader with passionate commitment to making a difference for the business and social communities she serves. Clare has made a positive impact to universities, the higher education sector, her discipline of psychology, and the broader community over many years in a variety of non-executive Director roles in government, professional and community boards. Collaborative, decisive and with strategic vision, in her role as Vice Chancellor and President at ECU Clare leads the University to create positive outcomes for its students, staff, and for the communities of Western Australia. Prior to her current role, Clare had a significant leadership career at Western Sydney University, Flinders University and Curtin University, including as Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor and Provost, Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students), Associate Provost, acting Executive Dean of Health Sciences, Dean of Students (Health Sciences), and Professor and Head of the School of Psychology and Speech Pathology.
