About Clare Sheils

Originally from Wales in the UK, I’ve called Prague home for the past 17 years. I joined CBRE Czech Republic in 2013 as Valuation Director, following my time at DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield). My journey at CBRE has been one of growth and transformation—becoming Head of Valuation for CEE in 2014, joining the top management team in 2015, and stepping into the role of Managing Director in 2020. Over the past five years, I’ve led CBRE Czech Republic through a period of strategic expansion and resilience. We've strengthened our industrial and logistics capabilities, supported the rise of dynamic commercial hubs, and attracted leading tech and IT firms to the region. Our central location and strong investor base have been key to this success. In addition to my role as Managing Director of CBRE Czech Republic, I now lead the Valuation business across Continental Europe. With a strong foundation in this field, I'm honoured to return to Valuation, this time with the opportunity to drive growth and deliver enhanced support to our clients. Looking ahead, I’m focused on deepening regional collaboration across Continental Europe, unlocking new business opportunities, and driving ESG innovation for our clients. I’m also passionate about fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes mental health, continuous learning, and professional growth. I’m a proud member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and my philanthropic work spans decades—from volunteering in the UK to supporting education initiatives for disadvantaged children in Africa. Outside of work, you’ll often find me rowing on the Vltava River at sunrise.
