Background
About Clare Thomas
I have worked with students, tutors and colleagues for over 8 years in my present role in tertiary educational support through many changes and adaptations. Students come in a variety of ages, abilities and attitudes and it is my philosophy to guide students to construct their own understanding of the world around them, empowering them with the tools and motivation for them to lead successful and fulfilling lives. It is essential that each student maintain their individuality throughout the learning process and also, that they learn to have respect for all aspects of the community. Moreover, it is important for students to develop critical thinking skills, to analyse and interpret the multitude of perspectives and issues that they will come across during the course of their lifelong learning.
