About Clare Wheeler

Network Access (wayleave) Lead for rural full fibre broadband supplier, Gigaclear. Experienced manager with strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills. Current role involves liaising heavily with wayleave, build and design teams, in addition to land owners, to progress consent for MDU fibre projects and enable fluid build. I have a methodical, logical and positive approach with an aptitude for problem solving, technical detail, the ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines. A Sustainable Environments (MSc), and Agricultural Science (BSc) graduate, I'm also qualified with a Project Management certificate which consolidates my experience of building projects, landscape design projects and business management. Masters dissertation subject - GIS: drone use for agricultural surveying. Now working towards CIOB and RICS chartership. I enjoy the new and varied challenges that the fibre telecoms industry brings. I'm also knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the fundamentals of environmental science, land management and sustainability principles. A mixture of agricultural, landscaping, building and management skills are demonstrated throughout previous roles.
