I am a Senior Communications professional, specialising in Internal Communications, Employee Engagement, and Stakeholder Engagement for the last eight years. This is underpinned by 15 years’ in journalism and PR.Currently Internal Communications Business Partner at the independent educational charity, AQA Education. Previously Communications Manager for Engagement at the largest NHS Trust in the country, focussed on engaging with colleagues across 10 hospitals and key stakeholders in the locality and region, including during the pandemic.I have previously worked across three transformation programmes.Journalism career highlight - leading the successful Manchester Evening News campaign to have funding to expand Metrolink tram system restored. I lived in LA for 3 years as a partial career break, including some pro-bono and paid copywriting and counselling work. I am a qualified integrative Counsellor in the UK and now use these skills in my work and in mentoring. Passionate about strategic comms, employee engagement, EDI, and wellbeing.Outside work, I’m an auntie, and step mum to two boys and a miniature schnauzer. I love reading and creativity and I’m studying for a Masters in Internal Communication Management.
