About Clark Geddes

Architecture has been a business and hobby of mine for over 30 years. I started my career in some of the larger practices which was a great experience; BDP in particular was a very enjoyable and influential time for me and sparked off my interest for masterplanning and placemaking. Running my own practice for 20 years – has meant having the privilege of working with great colleagues and friends in the industry – something that has been very important to me. I have also been very fortunate in combining my work with another passion – for travel. I have had the benefit of working across the globe – and have now built up a very inspirational international design team around me. With a love for retail and entertainment - some of the projects I have particularly enjoyed working on over the years have been in London; Whiteleys Shopping Centre and The Whitgift Shopping Centre; in Brno, Czech republic; The Olympia Shopping Centre, and in Abu Dhabi; Al Falah Town centre. All very different and very demanding. More recently I have become very involved with the Science and Technology sector – which is fascinating. In particular we are working on the masterplan, and subsequent build out of the MIRA Technology Park in Nuneaton. It is proving to be a great opportunity for the team to demonstrate our skills in placemaking - in a different sector.
