Background

About Clarke H.

I’m a technology leader who operates at the intersection of security, innovation, and strategy. My career has evolved through three distinct phases that now work together as a unified leadership philosophy: locking down enterprise security so organizations can operate with confidence, building and empowering autonomous technology teams that don’t need me in the weeds, and focusing my energy on AI strategy, digital transformation, and where the business needs to go next.I hold one of the broadest credential portfolios in the field: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, alongside a Futurist certification, because I believe protecting today and building tomorrow are two sides of the same job. That combination is rare, and it shapes how I lead.In my current role as Director of Technology & Innovation at Bassett Mechanical, I’ve led enterprise security architecture, developed custom business automation tooling, and begun laying the strategic and governance groundwork for the organization’s AI initiatives, building the framework and infrastructure to pursue AI adoption systematically as the technology matures.I’m energized by organizations that are serious about using technology as a competitive advantage, not just keeping the lights on.
