Background
About Claude Humbert
From 2010 to 2016, I attended the French high education system “classes préparatoires” in Metz, followed by the engineering school Institut Supérieur de Mécanique de Paris (industry-oriented master). In 2016, I completed my master thesis at the Carinthia Tech Research (Villach, Austria) during which I implemented a measurement system based on optical interferences for telecommunication applications. From 2017 to 2020, I performed my PhD thesis in the Bio-Micro Device team of the Femto-ST Institute (Besançon, France). During this project, I designed and characterized a hybrid mass sensor, consisting of the coupling between a quartz resonator and a digital resonator, having improved detection performances. I continued working on this project in 2021 as a senior researcher before joining FH-Kaernten (Villach, Austria). I am now in charge of the technical leadership of different projects mainly dealing with sensors for civil engineering and medical applications.
