About Claude Maye

I am a Corrections Executive with 30 years of work experience in corrections both in public and private sectors. During my career, I served in a combination of different assignments to include Regional Assistant Correctional Programs Administrator, Executive Assistant to the Regional Director, Regional Public Information Officer, three positions as Associate Warden and three as Warden. I retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons after 25 years and four years at the Senior Executive Service level having worked at eight different locations throughout the United States. In my final assignment, I served as warden at the United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas, which is this nations oldest and most historic federal prison. My assignments of increasing responsibilities have led me to become a visionary and strategic thinker which is innovative, flexible, resilient, and keenly aware of external factors effecting corrections.
