Text mentor, content creator, writer and bibliophile with nearly 30 years of experience as editor/publisher in the full spectrum of product lines, as well as part-time lecturer and research assistant in Humanities. Contracted as tertiary consultant and external supervisor. Currently fully occupied with content and text (printed media and electronic), with a calling: turn people's dreams into text that changes lives. Text consultant to publishers, as well as ghostwriter and mentor to authors (established and aspiring). As academic my passion is to educate the educators and act as research assistant, mentor and sounding board to peers and 'internal collaborators' in Higher Educations Institutions countrywide. Since 2009 my new venture, Home of Creativity/Kreatiwiteitshuis has reinvented text processing, not merely as language practitioner, but as text mentor - helping agencies and clients create products from concepts and content - turning their dreams into text that changes lives. Contracted to assist with 'problem cases': manuscripts that are seemingly defunct (publishers); reconstructive editing and rewriting of theses/dissertations for English second/third-language students - postgrads and postdocs. Since 2017: mentoring and presenting Writing Schools in RQ Research Intelligence (benchmarking for academic researchers). Thus following, sharing and realising my motto: Don't think outside the box, reinvent the box.
