About Claudia Alner

Claudia Alner is a cross-sector leader with a decade of experience across international NGOs, security policy, politics, and venture capital. Her work focuses on building bridges between sectors to drive real impact. She began in 2012 as Slovakia’s representative at the U.S. State Department’s Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship, later launching For Tomorrow’s Europe, a youth initiative on democracy and global affairs. From 2015–2019, Claudia was Deputy Director of Corporate Relations at GLOBSEC, forging partnerships for major international forums like the GLOBSEC Bratislava Forum and Tatra Summit. She has also spoken and moderated at global events, including TEDxBISB. In politics, she managed a coalition campaign in Slovakia’s 2020 parliamentary elections, leading a team of 50 staff. She then moved into finance as Head of Investor Relations at Crowdberry and later Head of Operations at CB ESPRI Impact One, Slovakia’s first social impact fund. Today, she combines expertise in venture capital and policy to advance initiatives at the intersection of innovation, investment, and social change.
