For the past 33 years, I have had the incredible opportunity to become an expert in - direct relation with carriers, freight forwarders, custom brokers, suppliers and customers. I have worked with different partners located on USA, Canada, countries from Asia and Europe. Logistics operations are the backbone of supply chain management, helping to bridge the connection between manufacturers, suppliers, and customers-management of the production, transportation, and distribution of goods throughout a business’ overall supply chain taking care of both inbound logistics (how materials and supplies are brought into a business) and outbound logistics (how the business’ resulting products get to retailers and consumers)- deep understanding of the industry, including the ability to manage inventory, optimize delivery routes, and minimize costs-have experience in warehousing, transportation, packaging, and risk management - ensuring accurate and on time documentation of inbound/outbound freights, terminal charges, custom duties- ensuring smooth flow of incoming ocean, truck, rail and air shipments- maintaining accurate ETA in order to ensure timely custom clearances and avoid any possible extra charges- inventory management-preparing various stock level reports-negotiate the cost with sales representative of freight forwarders, shipping lines, domestic carriers-experience in Logistics, Traffic, Operations, Custom Trade, Procurement, Supply Chain -understand every component of the supply chain and core skills such as demand planning and forecasting, operations management, logistics-Have Communication, relationship management, and negotiating skills between internal stakeholders and vendors and ensure maximum supply chain efficiency-overseeing the entire lifecycle of a product throughout the supply chain process, from the initial sourcing of materials to the final delivery of finished goods to consumers.
