My current job comprises a multitude of activities with respect to global registration of substances focussing on EU REACH. Responsibilities as a project manager (Senior Expert EU REACH)- Holistic management of the registration process (phase-in and non phase-in substances, intermediates)- Inter-divisional acquisition of company-specific data - Evaluation of relevant tonnages - Assessment of registration needs - Preparation and submission of initial registrations and updates - Follow-up on registered materials and coordination of legal necessities with respect to the chemical law - Interfacing to in-house toxicologists and ecotoxicologists, business units, legal affairs, production, quality control, research, analytics, purchasing, sales and external consultants - Consulting internal departments to identify and realize business-oriented solutions - Data maintenance and revision in SAP - Training of new colleagues - Post-registration activities – SIEF communication, data sharing, LoA negotiations - Communication with authorities - Adherence to deadlines set by authorities Responsibilities with respect to toxicology- Risk and safety assessment of our portfolio (cosmetic ingredients, fragrances)- Study monitoring - Data collection with respect to specific regional requirements
