I have extensive experience conducting housing and building inspections, testifying as an expert witness, and doing related consultant work in the private and public sectors. Since developing Austral Housing Inspections in 1995, my work is geared towards forensics, conveying code findings and opinions within a litigation context, and serving both Plaintiffs and Defense, landlords and tenants,"insurance defense", large law offices, and solo practitioners. My scope of work includes typing of reports strictly forensic use / judicial review, frequent deposition and court testimony. I am familiar with discovery process, and pre-trial work (e.g. exhibits, disclosures. document production). Having testified in over 400 bench and jury trials in Limited and Unlimited Jurisdictions, Federal Court, Rental Board Hearings, Alternative Dispute Resolution Forums, meditations and arbitration cases.
