My subjects have ranged from the famous (singing legend Tom Jones and former prime minister Brian Mulroney) to the infamous (former B.C. premier Bill Vander Zalm), from heroes known (Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, social activist June Callwood and 'Man in Motion' Rick Hansen) to the less-known everyday variety. My page designs, some of which are award-winners, are considered clean, innovative and reader-friendly. My personal philosophy is one that recognizes that life is indeed sweet -'la dolce vita'- in keeping with my Italian heritage. I enjoy music, great literature, wine, dancing, exploring cultures, gardening, the magic of cinema and history. I am a drummer, an avid bicyclist, environmentalist and, of course, a writer. One of my favourite sayings is "I'd rather be feared than loved" but I'm really a softie with a knack of being able to work with all kinds of people. Tapping into the talents of others and convincing them to put their trust into my abilities is another strength.
