About Claudio Doria

Claudio Doria has pursued most of his professional career as a partner in the Corporate and Commercial Law Department of Garrigues. He specializes in company law, especially mergers and acquisitions and debt issues, CSR and AML matters. His expertise in company-related commercial contracts includes the negotiation and preparation of joint venture, shareholders, distribution, agency and franchise agreements. He has acted as counsel in various litigation and arbitration proceedings related to such matters. He has a wealth of experience in structuring and implementing transnational corporate transactions and negotiating international agreements. He regularly advises companies on the international expansion of their businesses. His clients are companies operating in various sectors. Besides providing assistance to various multinationals with a presence in Spain, he frequently advises closely held groups and acts as board secretary and legal counsel to a number of them. Claudio Doria features in several international directories and has been frequently recommended by Best Lawyers as one of the lawyers of choice in Spain in his area of expertise. He is a member of Barcelona Bar Association, member of the Advisory Board of the European Forum and Co-chair of the Regional Fora Coordination Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA).
