Extensive experience in Oil & Gas projects for Pdvsa, Suncor Energy, Pemex, Total, Conoco Phillips, Exxon Mobil, Sonangol. It includes design and technical support for Production, Operations and Maintenance for Refineries and off-shore facilities. Directly involved in both minor and major electrical and multidisciplinary projects, with responsibilities managing FEED (front end engineering design), EPC contract (engineering-procurement-construction), BID evaluations, material take-off, quality assurance, commissioning and plant start-up. Directly involved during development of electrical studies using ETAP software, assisting and supporting Hazop studies, managing changes, and root cause analysis. Extensive experience specifying, designing, test witnessing and troubleshooting the entire spectrum of power system equipment including gas turbine generators, diesel driven generators, medium/low voltage switchgear, UPS's, VFD's, power transformers, protective relaying, motor control centers, starters, etc. Extensive experience with the application of various codes and standards including NEMA, CSA, SUNCOR, PEMEX, PDVSA, IEC, NEC, NETA and ANSI. Proficient skills in the use of AutoCAD and MSOffice.
