About Claudio Pastrone
R&D project manager, head of a research group focused overall involving about 30 people including senior and postDoc researchers. The domain is organized in four research programs focused on the concept of secure Connected Autonomous Systems: • Intelligent Perception • Autonomous IoT Systems and Robotics • Connected and Mobile Cooperative Systems • Cybersecurity In addition, the programs are associated to 2 laboratories: Cybersecurity Lab and Collaborative and Service Robotics Lab I have been involved in R&D projects (industrial contracts, national and EU funded) with both technical and management roles. I have been involved in a numerous EU funded projects (FP7, H2020, HE) with technical and coordination roles. I coordinated the H2020 projects - MONSOON (IoT, data analysis and predictive algorithms for process optimization in sustainable process industries)- CPSwarm (Tools to support engineering of IoT-enabled Cyber Physical Systems organized in swarms - used for applications involving drones, robots for logistics and autonomous freight vehicles). I have had the role of Technical coordinator for the first year of the EU IoT large scale pilot project MONICA.
