About Claudiu Cristea

At Flashnet, we’re turning street lighting into smart city infrastructure; and I’m focused on helping make that real for cities and partners on the ground. In my day to day work, I collaborate with stakeholders to shape smart lighting projects that help cities become more efficient, sustainable and better managed. My focus is on aligning their goals with solutions that reduce energy consumption, simplify operations and improve the overall quality of urban services. What keeps me excited is seeing the difference once a system goes live: fewer field surprises, quicker response times and smoother day-to-day operations, plus the confidence that the lighting network can become a reliable foundation for broader smart city services. If you’re interested in smart cities and how smart street lighting can enable them, I’d love to connect and swap ideas.
