About Claudiu Georgescu

I'm working as Reliability Engineer - KMGI facility Petromidia Refinery, Constanta, Romania. My responsibilities include: Failure Modes and Effects Analysis; Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why reports, FRACAS; Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs analysis. I worked as Asset Integrity Supervisor for Grup Servicii Petroliere (GSP), Romania and I served also as project engineer in technical projects since 2011 including: DP2 upgrading for pipe-lay barge, development and evaluation of new shipbuilding specification projects. Prior to GSP I was mechanical reliability engineer / inspector at Rompetrol Refinery where I provided technical expertise on preventive and predictive maintenance programs including analyzing of Key Performance Indicators for equipment reliability, develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement. I started my career as an engineer at Constanta Shipyard where I was in charge with supervision of construction and outfitting work for dwt chemical tankers. I received BS and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – Naval Installation and Equipment from the Ovidius University of Constanta.
