About Claus Lyngdal

Over the years I have gained a highly diversified insight into alternative investments from both the institutional investor side and the bank distribution side. Utilizing my private market transaction background I have been responsible for developing and executing on alternative investment strategies for some of the leading players in Denmark starting with PensionDanmark, where I led the team to become an internationally recognized direct investor through key values of trustworthiness, accountability and agility on to Danske Bank where I was part of the Asset Management leadership team and responsible for an alternative investment portfolio in excess of EUR 10bn. I have been part of the development of the alternative investment industry and have formed partnerships or consortiums with international blue-chip investors, managed a number of board seats, taken an active role in creating multiple new institutional investment funds, distributed investment products to bank clients and have been responsible for investing billions of EUR in alternative investments across infrastructure, private equity, credit, and real estate. At the same time, I have twice built alternative investment platforms attracting key talent and creating extremely well-functioning teams with the right mindset and culture.
