About Clay Pulsipher

Simply put, I'm a product guy. I love playing with ideas at feet then collaborating with smart, passionate teams to clash them with reality at the ground level and execute in logical sequences to bring them to market. And I love talking to users and prospective customers about their problems. With experience in corporate learning & development, health and edtech SaaS startups at all stages, as well as over a decade teaching and designing curriculum and experiences for learners of all ages, I bring a wide and unique perspective to everything I do. And I'm always broadening that perspective, fully aware of and embracing both how much I know and how much I don't. Fueling my builder's mentality, I'm a creator at my core. And I've done a little bit of everything at this point: writing, editing, learning design, music composition, audio engineering and production, graphic and UI/UX design, and video scripting and production. I'd love to share! • I have extensive expertise in learning and behavioral science, and in organizational psychology. • I’ve developed enterprise behavior-change content on leadership, personal effectiveness, trust, bias and inclusion, productivity, change management, project management, workplace well-being, psychological safety, emotional intelligence, work/life boundaries, and difficult conversations • I’m highly organized and thrive on bringing order to disorder—in exploring broad ranges of possibilities in ambiguous spaces, setting priorities, and taking action. • I’ve managed creative teams from audio production to video production to learning design to performance. • I've worked with startups through discovery and ideation; MVP roadmapping and development; research piloting and user testing; commercial launch; growth initiatives; and post-acquisition integration. • I have experience in environments fueled by non-dilutive funding and have collaborated on NIH SBIR grant activities and submissions. • I'm an authentic people leader who cultivates safe team environments wherein all feel excited to contribute their best, challenge each other, and learn from mistakes.
