About Clay Smith

From the Math Team to playing basketball at the collegiate level, I’ve never failed to value the importance of communication. Working with teammates and understanding has always been essential to achieving success. More recently though, the value of communication has been made only more concrete to me by seeing where it failed. Back when I was graduating from college, my grandmother had a fall; the financial strain on her four children started shortly after. This event made me realize the importance of communication in planning for someone's future and I am thankful to be in a position where I can help others. Watching the impact of my family’s failure to plan only affirmed my goals in becoming a financial advisor; I work to keep others from facing the similar struggles. That's why at Phoenix Private Wealth we strive to create strong avenues of communication between us and our clients, addressing their specific needs and questions. I know that everyone has their own story, and my goal is to help them write that story to their specifications.
