About Clayton Hester

I am a media professional passionate about creating new things. In 2022, I began work on the organization that has become the CLAY Podcast Network. CLAY highlights stories of creativity and innovation, with the goal of building an organization that will tell real-time stories of people who are building and dreaming up amazing things. I began my career in media with the Southeast Arrow, the student-run multimedia publication, in 2017 when I became a student at Southeast Missouri State University. I first started in radio in 2018 at Mississippi River Radio as their primary reporter and news anchor. During my time, I also gained experience hosting their morning show and interviewing figures both local and from around the country. In 2019, I came on board with KRCU Public Radio as the host of Morning Edition, and since I've been serving as news reporter and host of their public affairs program Going Public. In 2019, I also founded Redhawk Radio Theater, a student organization producing audio fiction by utilizing student actors, writers, editors, composers, and many more. In 2020, I became the multimedia editor for the Southeast Arrow and established the Arrow Podcast Network. In 2021, I started work at KFVS12 as digital news producer & anchor where I've spearheaded programming for the KFVS Digital News Desk.
