About Clayton Moore

I began my career in quality as a Layout Inspector/CMM operator eventually moving into CMM programmer for an aerospace parts manufacturer delivering directly to OEMS. Through my career I have gained experience programming a wide variety of parts, from stints for medical devices to large structural components for commercial and military aircraft. Wanting to gain more knowledge in Quality, I moved into a position where I was able to become involved in quality planning and quality deliverables. I became involved in Contract Review, Process Development and Audits, Quality Metrics, Supplier Audits, and AS9102 First Articles. I have been able to utilize methods, such as Statistical Process Controls (SPC), Process Capability, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR & R) studies. With the goal of furthering my career in quality, I have become an ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), AS9100 Certified Lead Auditor, received my Associates degree and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Alabama.
