About Clayton Wolfe

My work career started when I was 16 working to buy my first car with the help of bojangles. I worked hard to become a good cook and I was respected for that. It showed me how you can stand out if you give it your all. From there I went to my first “real” job as I used to say; that was being a first hand man for the owners of Direct Import Services in Boonville, NC. Here I learned many different things from driving forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, delivering materials in a box truck, how to work around horses, fence building, gardening, tree work, and much more. I would do anything they needed me to do around Their house and also all around North Carolina. From there I had a short lived electrician job changing chemical ballasts to electrical ballasts in schools for a company called Mid-Atlantic Retrofit. This company shut down after I was there for 6 months and I was laid off unfortunately. That leads me to my previous job at unifi where I worked for 2 years as a machine operator and 2 years as an assistant manager/instructor. This company was the first huge company I worked for. I worked harder than anyone to be the best operator and eventually got promoted to instructor with goals of becoming a manager. I learned as much as I could and I pulled plenty of days where I was the fill in manager for my boss when he/she took time off. I applied for manager openings 4 times and was almost hired for the last one posted. Now I am renting the first home I bought and working on more rental properties. My goal is to be able to have that as my side hustle and achieve a job that I enjoy coming to every day. If you have made it this far thank you SO much for your time!
