About Clement Uyehara

I am currently an Operations Manager at the Walt Disney Company and have a background in IT recruitment and customer service. I oversee a staff of nearly 100 people a day and manage an outlet that does over $20 million in revenue annually. I am currently the only Japanese speaking manager in my department and am in charge of handling all operational matters relating to the Japanese market. Prior to my time at the Walt Disney Company I lived in Japan for 6 years starting my time there as an English Teacher at Aeon Corporation where I accomplished things such as highs student satisfaction, highest sales reaching over 300% of our sales goal, and at my last school we were consistently in the top 10 revenue earning schools in the country. After my time in education I worked as a Recruiter focusing on the IT and finance industries. Some of my achievements at this time were getting the fastest placement in my company's history, being the top biller for new hires in 2018, and managing the financial technology and insurance team. In my free time I enjoy studying languages, investing in crypto currencies, and learning new skills. I am currently studying iOS and full stack development. For my next career goal I would like to further expand my management skills and would like to grow as an Operations Manager.
