About Clemente Guzman

I am a recent PhD graduate at Florida State University and performed my dissertation research at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in the Condensed Matter Sciences department. I am currently working part-time as a researcher in Lukasz Dusanowski's quantum optics and nanophotonics group in the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. I am seeking a full-time industry/private sector research position in quantum computing/sensing, and I am open to relocation within the United States. My skills include optical (UV) and electron beam lithography (NPGS/SEM), thermal and electron beam evaporation, cryogenics including operation and maintenance of dilution refrigerators, high magnetic field studies, as well as CAD (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, QCAD) and multiphysics simulation software (COMSOL). I am also skilled at data analysis in OriginPro and programming in Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and VHDL. My research involved the fabrication of on-chip devices to control and detect the state of a quantum spin. My group is interested in the potential for these devices to act as spin-based qubits for quantum computing due to the relatively long coherence time of spin states.
