About Cleo Thomas
With a background in cultural heritage and participatory practices, my work aims to make cultural spaces more open, shared, and alive, bringing together diverse people and perspectives - whether through exhibitions, talent development, workshops, cultural evenings or living-room routes. I currently lead VOX-POP, the creative hub and zoete inval of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Amsterdam. It’s a space where art, academia, and society come together through interdisciplinary programmes. The goal isn’t to offer fixed answers, but to spark curiosity, authenticity, and collective imagination. And because I love food, it almost always finds its way into the conversation.
