About Cliff Anders

I pride myself on introducing and developing data centric transformational technologies to mature industries and markets. In each position and company, I have focused on applying emerging technologies to industries that have mature and entrenched leaders. Markets with such leaders tend to slow their "growth and change" as the entrenched players have built large operations focusing on doing the same thing very well. The larger and more entrenched the market leaders, the less likely they are to obsolete themselves. This provides fertile ground for taking a fresh look at how new technologies and advancements can be applied to improve or change the product/service offerings in the market. Historically, this view has served my companies and me well. On several occasions, this has led to the introduction of industry-changing shifts in product/service delivery methods or features. The industry may follow, or we may align ourselves with the industry leaders in the form of acquisitions or mergers. This is a labor of passion, and I love the challenges. However, there is always an end game in mind that leads to the next cycle. I believe companies must continuously strive for self-improvement, or they will end up facing a competitor that takes that fresh look.
