Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile, I want to introduce myself and hope we can connect further if you like what you see. Before I get into work, here I am. I love working with people, and motivated in knowing that I am making a difference. I push myself as well as the people I work with to achieve the best both privately and collectively. I'm highly passionate and driven, and have developed a rare ability to, both see the bigger picture as well as the detail in the projects I’ve worked on. This has translated into many successful accomplishments in my work and personal life. After 2 years as the MD of a company that I took from being insolvent to generating profit, my wife and I have decided to move from Johannesburg, South Africa to Israel where we will be living in Jerusalem. As a student, I studied and graduated with an LLB Law and went to practice as an attorney. Over and above my responsibilities, I spent extensive time focusing on banking and finance law, working with the major banks in South Africa. I focused my energies on bringing in new clients and business for my firm. After 2 years in Law, I knew that I was destined for something greater and took over Brooklyn Bagels, which at the time was insolvent. Acting as the Managing Director, I took on the responsibility of ensuring our strategy was correct; and the successful implementation, which resulted in a completely new business now known as Brooklyn Foods. I moved forward in forming the correct strategic partnerships with the right distribution channels of our products. Additionally I pursued and acted on multiple deals with some of South Africa's largest retail distributors including Pick n Pay, Checkers and Spar. We dealt extensively with Famous Brands, Africa's leading quick-service and casual dining restaurant franchisor as well as all international slow lounges and large airlines. I negotiated a 50% buy in by SloJo a top international beverage solutions company.
