About Cliff Lamb

Responsibilities of my current position are to conduct research and extension programs that relates to beef cattle management systems, beef-forage systems, beef cattle nutrition, reproduction, and/or breeding. I lead research program that includes interdisciplinary, multi-unit, and multi-institutional collaborations in beef cattle management systems. I currently lead a statewide extension education program in beef cattle production, publish extension information in electronic format and train county agents. As “Coordinator of Animal Science Programs” at NFREC – Marianna, my responsibilities are to maintain the beef cattle herd at NFREC – Marianna (oversight of animal selection, animal breeding, feeding, and herd health, maintain herd records and budget for NFREC Beef Unit and supervise personnel responsible for NFREC Marianna beef cattle herd), allocate animals for research purposes and coordinate the NFREC Feed Efficiency Program (includes oversight of scheduling research experiments, plus providing direction of future projects).
