Hello! I am Cliff Pearson, the owner and founder of Pearson Academic Support Services. As a dynamic, skilled, and university-educated private tutor and communications professional, I bring extensive and multi-faceted experience to my work. Over the past 35 years, I have worked across various communication sectors, including print news, public relations, broadcasting, and online media. In addition to running my tutoring company, I also serve as a judge for high school forensics competitions. At Pearson Academic Support Services, we specialize in providing comprehensive tutoring and teaching services for college-level Texas Common Core (TCC) classes and all Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curricula. Furthermore, our team is well-versed in tutoring the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme curriculum. In the realm of development training and corporate coaching, we focus on empowering non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, charities, and social service agencies. Our expertise encompasses media relations skills-building, small group dynamics, team-building, active listening, and more. Our true passion lies in supporting experientially-challenged students, such as those who have faced bullying due to their LGBTQ+ identity or racial/ethnic minority status.
