I was an engaged Production Worker before my time in the World Class Quality Department here at Fort Wayne Metals. My tour in Quality started my education in professional objectivity and prevention is far more effective than detection. The most effective Engineering includes active listening and rigorous follow through as much as technical expertise. I've taken every class, seminar, workshop, and correspondence course my company has offere. Including but not limited to: ASQ-CQT, ASM Metallurgy for the Non-Metallurgist, Excel, Eddy Current Testing Lv 2, Lean Manufacturing, Wire 101, Wire 141, Wire 161, Fort Wayne Wire Die Workshop, and First Response Training. My company encourages growth in virtually every area, they offer Full Tuition Reimbursement for any subject I choose to pursue from an accredited University. I plan on furthering my education until I retire, perhaps even after. They offered me various Team Building exercises: Korn Fairy Card Sorting, Team Dimensions Profiling, and countless after work activities. I enjoy knowing that the product my team and I work with every day, improves the quality of and could potentially save, hundreds of thousands of lives.
