About Clint Ryle

I have had a varied career, spanning 40+ years, which includes: software customer support both over the phone and on site; managed, owned, and operated a small business; worked as a support engineer at Cisco Systems; installed production systems in Norway, Finland, and the UK; and software QA engineer; and managed a team of software QA engineers.After selling my business months prior to the Covid pandemic I had difficulty finding work. I delivered parts for a local auto parts supplier for over a year. Most recently I found work as a Meat Clerk as a local community market. I enjoy the work as a meat clerk, particularly serving our customers.I have varied technical skills which include IP networking, virtualization, performing most of the IT functions in my business. I designed, staged, installed, and supported the production system used in my business.I excel at customer service and interaction. As a software support engineer I was often assigned to disgruntled clients, resolving issues between the customer and the company. I have acted as a troubleshooter and was often cast in the role of a "turn around guy" dealing with hostile clients. I take a great deal of satisfaction identifying and fulfilling the needs of customers whether in a technical or retail role.
