About Clint Wendt

During my career as an environmental compliance professional, I have worked in a variety of disciplines and am well rounded in a number of environmental specialty fields. Working as an environmental consultant, I prepared Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and contaminant site investigations. I also worked in wetland and waterway permitting and lake management, and invasive species management. I completed Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and Spill Prevention Countermeasure (SPCC) for a variety of industries. As project manager, I tried to find cost effective solutions for my clients to achieve their compliance needs or resource protection goals. My current duties include managing environmental responsibilities for a large utility construction contractor involved with large scale energy and heavy construction projects throughout north America. My duties include: employee training; HSE audits; preparation and review; waste reduction and management; recycling initiatives; regulatory liaison; EMS workgroup participation; and providing guidance to environmental staff. I visit many work locations throughout the year and assist site managers in maintaining project compliance and assist with problem solving environmental issues if they arise. My specialty is erosion and sediment (E&S) control and management. I enjoy working with the field crews that build amazing projects.
